Reflecting Pattern final product

Date: January 2025

Media: Colored paper & bristol

Size: 15 by 15 in.

For this assignment I took a piece of my

Notan and found a new nonobjective shape composition and asymmetric design.

I used it to repeat and create a tile to then used the template to

trace the final pattern. I cut this out as one solid

connected design and used grey, black, white, and a textured

pattern to give it dimensions, with contrasts of quantity and

value create hard and soft boundaries and emphasize or deemphasize elements.
